Terms and Conditions for Renorescue Ltd

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Renorescue Ltd’s services, website, and the Quote Finder service. By using our website and engaging with our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. General Terms

1.2 Service Overview: Renorescue Ltd provides a Quote Finder service that connects clients with vetted contractors in the building, renovation, and tree surgery industries. We act as an intermediary and facilitate the exchange of quotes between clients and contractors.

2. Intellectual Property Protection

2.1 Proprietary Information:

• The Quote Finder service is the exclusive property of Renorescue Ltd.

• All proprietary methods, processes, and technology used to source, verify, and present construction, builder, and tree surgery quotes are protected under UK copyright law, trade secret protections, and unfair competition regulations.

• This website, its content, and all associated documentation are strictly confidential and intended solely for the use of authorized recipients.

• Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or creation of competing services is prohibited and will be subject to legal action under UK intellectual property laws.

• Renorescue Ltd retains all rights to the content, methodologies, and technology used in the Quote Finder service and other proprietary offerings.

2.2 No Replication: Any unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or replication of our business model, services, or content is prohibited. Legal action will be taken against any party attempting to replicate or steal our business model, branding, or methodologies.

3. Contractor Vetting and Compliance

3.1 Contractor Vetting: All contractors listed on Renorescue’s platform are thoroughly vetted to meet our strict criteria. We assess their qualifications, experience, reputation, and compliance with UK regulations.
3.2 Removal of Contractors: We reserve the right to remove any contractor from our list if they breach any of our terms and conditions or fail to meet our regulatory standards.
3.3 Contractor Responsibility: Renorescue acts solely as an intermediary. Any disputes, complaints, or issues related to the quality or execution of work are to be addressed directly with the contractor carrying out the work. Renorescue Ltd holds no responsibility or liability for the work carried out by contractors.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Stages: Payments for services provided by contractors will be processed in stages, in line with agreed milestones between the client and the contractor. The payment will be held securely through the Transpact payment platform, and funds will be released as per the contractual agreement.
4.2 Payment Security: Payments for services are securely processed through Transpact and are subject to Transpact's terms and conditions. Renorescue Ltd is not responsible for any issues related to payment processing, except for facilitating the payment system and ensuring payments are handled in line with agreed milestones.

5. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

5.1 Confidentiality: By using Renorescue's services, clients and contractors agree to keep all proprietary information shared by Renorescue confidential. This includes details related to the Quote Finder service, client details, contractor information, and any other confidential data exchanged during the process.
5.2 Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs): Renorescue Ltd may enter into NDAs with clients and contractors to further protect sensitive information. Any breach of these NDAs will result in legal action and compensation owed to Renorescue Ltd.

6. Bypassing Renorescue

6.1 Direct Engagement: Clients and contractors are prohibited from bypassing Renorescue by engaging directly with one another outside of our service. If it is found that either a client or contractor has engaged in direct negotiations or transactions, bypassing Renorescue, they will be liable for legal action and compensation will be owed to Renorescue Ltd as per the terms and conditions outlined here.
6.2 Enforcement: Any breach of this condition will be subject to legal proceedings and damages as per UK law.

7. Disputes and Complaints

7.1 Contractor Disputes: Renorescue Ltd does not accept liability for any complaints, disputes, or issues related to the work completed by contractors. Clients must address any concerns directly with the contractor who carried out the work.
7.2 Complaints Process: Should a client wish to raise a complaint about the service received from a contractor, Renorescue Ltd may assist in facilitating communication between the client and the contractor but does not accept responsibility for resolving the issue.
7.3 Legal Liability: Renorescue Ltd is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the work carried out by any contractor.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 No Liability for Contractors’ Work: Renorescue Ltd is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or damages caused by contractors' work or services. Our role is limited to introducing vetted contractors to clients, and all service-related disputes must be directed to the contractors themselves.
8.2 Indemnification: Clients and contractors agree to indemnify and hold Renorescue Ltd harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their engagement with contractors or use of our services.

9. Amendments and Updates

9.1 Right to Modify Terms: Renorescue Ltd reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
9.2 User Consent: Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with UK law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
